When we refer to mushroom powder, we mean the format produced by drying the mushroom fruiting bodies at low temperatures, followed by milling. At Hifas da Terra, we utilise cryo-milling—a process conducted at temperatures below 0°C. Rather than using hammers or blades, the powder is produced by the friction of 98 stainless steel bars, which breaks down the cell walls to release active biomolecules such as prebiotics and fibre.
To produce our extracts, we employ a specialised process to create a highly concentrated powder, rich in natural nutrients such as beta-glucans, terpenes, ergothioneine, fatty acids, ergosterol, hericenones, and grifolan.
Thanks to our R&D team, we have developed sustainable extraction techniques, such as Hifas Green Extraction TechnologyⓇ, allowing us to obtain pure mushroom extracts with high concentrations of active principles. Due to their concentrated nature, these extracts provide superior potency and efficacy. This enables us to formulate the optimal dose in fewer daily capsules, achieving results in a shorter period of time.
